Key Features

Random Orbit Sanders feature a circular base which spins the attached disc, while at the same time rotating it around in an eclipse formation. They provide an effective solution to removing paint and varnish, as well as smoothing and preparing wood and plastics ready for treatment, or just for an aesthetically pleasing finish.


Silverline has designed this Silverstorm sander, with its 430W motor, to produce a consistently clean finish, free of sanding marks or lines. This operation is aided by the inclusion of a dust extraction port and attached bag, which continuously draws dust and debris away from the sanding sheet and working area.


Featuring a variable speed control dial, you can continually monitor and adjust the rate of removal to achieve your desired finish. The whole tool weighs just over 2kg, delivering the required amount of pressure on the workpiece with little user effort. An additional handle at the front of the unit is fully adjustable via its own locking clamp, allowing a wide range of working angles.


Operation is engaged via the trigger switch, either manually holding it down or by making use of the lock-on switch to reduce muscle fatigue and improve comfort and control.


The Silverstorm random orbit sander is compatible with all 125mm hook and loop sanding discs, including the quick-change hook and loop range from Silverline, so you won't be short of options regardless of your requirements. Supplied with 5 x varying sanding sheets to get you started.

I bought the random orbital sander to use on my narrowboat. Although there are large flat surfaces, there are also many concave and convex surfaces that need sanding from time to time. This sander works well for all but the smallest nooks and crannies where a detail sander is needed. Overall, I am very impressed with this sander, especially considering the very competitive price.

I don''t know if you send your seconds to 1 firm in the uk but I have now had 2 of these sanders the first did about 30 hours work send the second less the 20. The disc will not turn with just the weight of the sander 😡
