Key Features

For drilling and driving tasks in and around the home, garden and workplace, the Silverstorm 10.8V drill driver is a wonderfully compact tool with the power to be put to task on most domestic applications. Featuring a keyless Sanou chuck with a 10mm bit capacity, this drill accepts a wide range of bits for all screwdriving jobs, as well as drilling into mild steel with a 6mm bit and into wood with a 19mm diameter bit.


The 2-speed, all-metal gearing enhances user control and provides no load speeds of 0-350rpm in first gear and 0-1150rpm in second, with 16+1 selectable torque setting and reverse churning out a maximum torque of 22Nm. Soft rubber grips on the handle provide sure grip and comfort when working for an extended period of time, whilst the whole tool weighs just 0.97kg so is easy to manoeuvre and keep steady during scrupulous tasks.


Last but not least, an LED work light allows completion of tasks in cupboards, under sinks and in other poor light conditions, lighting up the target area to aid accuracy and save fiddling around in the dark. The Silverstorm 10.8V Drill Driver includes a 1.3Ah Li-ion battery which charges in 3-5hrs and an intelligent charger to ensure the battery is continuously fed the correct level of charge and shuts off when full - this extends battery life and helps keep performance at a consistent level.


Compatible with a wide range of screwdriver bits, such as Silverline 681743 and drill bits like those in Silverline 633843. Includes protective blow-moulded case for safe transportation and storage.

Wanted a lightweight portable drill for small jobs. In only a few days I have used it numerous times for drilling holes and inserting screws. I have a much more powerful mains drill for heavy work and together with this Silverstorm, they make a perfect pair.

Have used this drill/driver extensively since purchasing and have found it to be very good for the price I paid. The battery charges very quickly and lasts for ages in use, even when drilling into steel with a 12 mm drill bit. Then even if I forget to charge it before putting away the battery holds what charge it has left, unlike other batteries that loose charge even when not in use. The clutch for difference size screws works well so that you don''t overtighten them, and the chuck grips well (some cheap Chuck''s do not). Overall I would certainly recommend this unit to anyone who is looking for a good everyday drill/driver that is not ridiculously expensive.

I have usually bought DeWalt or Bosch professional tools but I just needed a cheap lightweight drill for a different job. Having used this now for quite a while I have been really pleased with it. As mentioned it''s lightweight, no hammer action and only one battery. However, there are many that would find it a perfect fit for a number of jobs.

Reliable light weight secondary drill particularly useful as a driver and for "lighter" drilling duties. I bought it after purchasing and returning a cheap driver which was less versatile and less robust.
