This seems to sharpen with ease as I can see metal shaving away with little pressure applied to the knives. Using the suction feature is also great as it frees up your second hand to apply even pressure along the knife as you pull it through. Seems like the same design as the popular Any Sharp brand but at a fraction of the cost.
