I own and regularly use several planes for DIY and boat repairs. Purchased this one fromHomebase because my block plane was 100 miles away. As supplied the blade was not just blunt, but unfinished and took a lot of sharpening. Very difficult to adjust. Nasty to use... but I’m used to a wooden body.
