I purchased two of these Kensington type laptop locks and both are incredibly poor quality. While testing one the lock mechanism fell apart. It clicked back together and seems to be holding but I have lost faith in them. The keys are not as pictured either. The metal part does not go into the plastic handle as shown - instead they are just weakly stuck together so one key has already broken. They might be okay as a visual deterrent from theft but I would not trust them to keep my equipment safe.
