Having never replaced a tyre valve before, and needing to change a leaking valve on my MGF alloy wheel, I purchased the Tyre Valve Puller. After removing the old valve and manipulating the new valve lubricated with home made tyre soap into position in the rim (since I did not remove the whole tyre, just the outside bead), I attached the tool to the valve and was surprised how easily the new valve was pulled in. I did need to use a piece of wood to protect the alloy rim as the plastic sleeve was not quite long enough, but it would be fine on larger wheels. Hence my review as an essential tool, since I am not sure how I would have fitted the new valve without it.
