I bought this very reluctantly and cautious as I''m used to a Bullfinch or BOC one and have been for years of flat roofing, how wrong was I to judge , this feels better in the hand and is easier to control , I''m well impressed indeed .

Worked ok for a couple of days then nut holding trigger came off and couldn''t reassemble. Possibly a 1 off so gettign a replacement and going to give it another go as it worked great before this happened. Thats the great thing about lifetime warranty!

Torch works well but nozzle is a bit too large for tight weed areas. I bought the torch thinking I could then order smaller nozzles if needed. This is not the case as not available even though the small torch 456996 comes with 3 nozzles. The trigger mechanism is OK but I am not too sure how long it would last with daily commercial use given the hinge rivet. Hose and regulator seem to be fine so far.

The Roofing Gas torch is just what it says on the packet. Apart from its obvious use it is also an excellent "green" weeding tool. Easy to use and well built.

The torch was bought to replace one that had been in use for last 25 years or more, it was cheap & readily available, & certainly did the job for us, although I would say it was a little on the flimsy side. We don''t use it all day everyday so if you were looking for something to use on a more regular basis then you may want to spend a bit more money & get a more robust looking one.
