Key Features

When time is precious, or a standard electric drill or screwdriver just won't do, you need an impact driver. Using a hexagonal collet instead of a keyless chuck, the impact driver has a whole range of screwdriving bits that would be useless with a traditional tool. These bits are harder and more durable than standard screwdriver bits because of the much larger amount of torque impact driver deliver.


The Silverstorm 18V Impact Driver is fitted with a ¼" / 6.35mm hex bit holder and features a planetary gearbox with hardwearing, all-metal gearing for performance and durability. A soft-grip handle reduces vibration as well as providing a secure grip for user comfort, and the forward/reverse switch allows for both insertion and removal of screws and fixings.


120Nm of torque provides a super-quick no load speed of 0-2200rpm, which is not always required, so a variable speed trigger is fitted for tasks where a lighter touch is needed.


The supplied 1.3Ah Li-ion battery features a battery level indicator, which shows how much energy is left in the cell, and charges in just one hour with the included intelligent charger. Intelligent chargers monitor the voltage, temperature and time taken to charge, adjusting the input accordingly in order to work efficiently and ceasing the charging process once the battery is completely full.


Complementing this already gadget-laden tool is a handy LED work light which is invaluable when working under shelves, in cupboards and in generally poorly-lit areas. Low-tech, but highly important vents cool the motor to prolong life and increase performance. The Silverstorm 18V Impact Driver includes 1 x battery, 6 x screwdriver bits, 6 x nut drivers and a blow-moulded carry case.

Purchased this item a few months ago and very happy with it. Comes with a sturdy case, charging dock and 1 battery. This would be my only slight negative in that it could do with coming with 2 batteries but for the price this is unrealistic. Plenty of torque and will drive in 4" screws no problem and battery lasts for a good amount of time. Time will tell how long it last but with the 3 year guarentee and how sturdy it feels, I don''t really have any worries.

Super little driver, nice and affordable. Holds the charge well, and does the job of more expensive drivers. Definitely think it''s worth a purchase for little DIY jobs, was a big help for boarding out the loft.

I am a diabetic with heart disease but still a keen classic car enthusiast and have long wanted a impact driver that had enough oomph to remover multiple screws and bolts but not so powerful that it could pull straight out of my grip. This device is perfect and is easy to control and adjust, has good battery life and a quality feel in the hand. Add in a bargain price and it is a perfect addition to my tool set and allows me to keep on working when basic hand tools would leave me exhausted. Silverline is quickly become a first choice when I am looking for tools and equipment because of it''s reliable price and performance.

I used this to refurbish the whole front suspension of my car. On the smaller bolts or nuts it works a charm. On the bigger ones such as the under-frame or brake caliper brackets there was first need to loosen, then use the impact driver for a faster removal of the bolt. When it comes to ball joints it works a treat as there is no need to use an allen key as well as a spanner due to the impact function. Reassembly is much faster as it will screw back in all of the nuts or bolts regardless of size. This make reassembly much faster then just using a ratchet spanner.Battery lifespan is great. I used it for about 8 hours before needing a recharge and when put on charge, battery got to full within an hour. I did at times remove it from charge while charging to do some work, then put it back on charge, but still did not take long to fully recharge. It is s great tool to have for ensuring a faster working process and would recommend this for the toolbox.

Ho acquistato un kit con due avvitatori, di cui uno a impulsi. I trapani avvitatori funzionano molto bene, ma una delle due batterie risulta non funzionante. Sono in attesa di ricevere riscontro su come rendere il pezzo difettoso per ottenere quello nuovo e funzionanente.
