I purchased this door defender as part of an overhaul of the security of my house. I am very pleased with it as it does the job perfectly. It was "interesting" trying to drill the six screw holes but that was because I was using some very long screws, the concrete was very tough and I didn''t have a powerful enough drill. Once the holes were drilled everything was simple. When fitted the red defender does not quite cover all of the screw heads and there is a small gap between the garage door and the defender but I don''t believe that this is an issue. and I am confident that it will deter anyone other than a very determined and well equipped burglar.
