Let me just say that I don''t own any of these - yet. However, this morning when I was taking my mother to a GP appointment, as I closed my tailgate, the brake cable of her walker got trapped in the catch and jammed the tailgate. shut (not fully shut, but it wouldn''t open, either). I''m a driving instructor and I have someone with a test booked next week, and I frantically phoned around garages to see if anyone could get me in to open it. The main dealer said they''d need to smash the back panel from inside, then order parts to replace it, which would take weeks. Finally, I called The AA. Two guys came, had a fiddle with the door, then inserted two of these exact same wedges with the Silverline name on them). I couldn''t believe they managed to release it so easily just inflating two of these wedges by hand.
