Works fine; Checked with 1000 g known precision weight and the reading was accurate. The hook for hanging the luggage is a bit too small for some types of luggage, but with some very thick ironwire I made an extra hook. A reading at the top (so you can look down on the instrument) instead of at the side would be more comfortable when weighing heavy luggage. Now, for weighing heavy luggage, I had to hang it from a point at the ceiling, instead of holding it by hand. Even so, it did the job, and I had the proper weight in the airplane.
