Perfect purchase if you''re looking to start wood turning. Provides everything you need, providing you have a lathe that is, to cut spindles, bowls and the like. Work well on soft woods like pine and will find out soon how they work with hard woods. Take and keep a nice sharp edge too. Would happily recommend.

As a beginner at wood turning I bought these chisels as I wasn’t prepared to pay the price for carbide ones. I can honestly say they are great for me. Need sharpening occasionally but so do all chisels. Work well , cut well and nicely balanced. I highly recommend this set of turning chisels.

Having just started wood turning since my school days, I bought this set of chisels due to price alone as didn''t know whether or not this was something I was going to invest a lot of time and money into. I have now used these chisels for a few different jobs and have to say for the price they really are quite good, I was doubtful they would hold an edge and remain sharp but they have not disappointed. There are better chisels out there without a doubt, but these do the job just fine. Excellent value and would highly recommend for beginners.
