I bought this to replace one I got from Clas Olsen which I gave away. The original one was brilliant, and this one appears to be also, which you''d expect as the innards likely to be the same. The original had a rubber casing. Though they have used the same mouldings this one is more rigid plastic, so might not take too much physical abuse without cracking.

We bought this light to use when working in the loft and it really lights up he whole area We then had a flood and we lost all the lighting in the kitchen We used this lamp to light up the kitchen for many weeks until kitchen replaced It was handy to hang it from a cabinet Recharging was quick and easy and it was reliable and economical Very good buy

This is the second of these lamps I have purchased, the first one was in 2010 and it has given good service, it still works but after so much use I cant complain, that''''s why I purchased another here''''s to the next 6/7 years. It''''s much better than a torch giving out a lot of light, when working on the car, in the loft, or under the floorboards, even in the garden at night when the dog goes out. Buy one. you won''''t regret it.
