The corner clamps have several problems. Admittedly they are very cheap but if they aren''''t really fit for purpose then u have to qunction to buy in the first place. The fabricated design rather than machined I''''d obviously to save cost, but the bases are not flat or square. The biggest issue that make them not fit for purpose is the Base is actually lower on some of the clamost I have than the clamp screw thread. So the wood simply rocks / pivots on the thread making the production of a square frame almost impossible. I could live with the flimsy rocking clamps and dodgy fabrication in places but the inability to have the item sit flat is unforgivable.
