I only had a shallow socket that I had to keep using an extention for - it was also a bigger circumference as it was double ended so was marking my wheels nearly every time I used it. The deep one fits on my torque wrench without the extension giving me better leverage when loosening/ tightening the nuts. Good quality, good price.
