Use it for metal detecting. Rivets don''t look very strong when they split I will put nuts and bolts in but with these type of handles if the plastic top bit goes the shovel is useless. Still working yet but has had no serious levering. Time will tell.

I dont know if the rivets will last much longer. Nuts and Bolts might have been better. Overall its still working as a shovel for metal detecting
